We did A LOT of walking around downtown to find the perfect places but it was well worth it! Phoenix Arizona has a lot to offer in the way of beautiful mountain ranges, landscaped deserts throughout Scottsdale, beautiful architecture around downtown Phoenix, and so much more.
In this session we went from natural light, to Golden Hour, to using a speed light once night fell. While we only shared a few portraits that we delivered to the couple (the bride and groom to be) we love the diversity – something that we always strive for in any session – and, we love the way these two glow throughout the entire process. Much love and happiness to you two, for ever and always!

What more can we say about Courtney and Dan? They are some of the two most genuine and delightful people we have had the pleasure of meeting in our ten years of professional wedding and engagement photography. The Phoenician is always a stunning location to capture engagement photos. The views of the water, the luscious backgrounds, and the elegant interior always create dramatic moments. It’s romantic and captivating all at the same time! When couples tell us that they “trust us” and to “just do whatever we think is best”, it allows us to really bring a beautiful look to their engagement session. In this case, we didn’t need to do much. Just look at how amazing they look, together, interacting and creating breath taking moments together.
These two are going to enjoy a welsh of happiness together long into the future. They’re so light hearted, beautiful, and an a joy to spend time with. We laughed together, they let their guard down and amazing things happened!
